A NEW SPECIALIST trailer manufacturer, Andover Trailers, has been established on the site of the former Craven Tasker factory at Anna Valley, Andover. Hampshire.
Three ex-Tasker employees, managing director Len Fuller, sales director Ivan Collins, and technical director Cliff Goddard, head the management team whose main interestisin specialist trailers built for individual customers.
Andover Trailers' main product will be low loaders, but other vehicles such as platforms, skeletal and drawbar outfits will also be considered.
Conversions such as the 6.1m (201t) container trailers to tipping skcletals recently completed are expected to be an important feature.
Andover has also become a Granning suspension distributor and will carry out retrofit conversions to rigids, tractive units and trailers.
