• A new specialised contract warehousing operation has been set up by Mayne Nickless, parent company of Parceline and Security Express. According to marketing and development manager Ingilby Dickson, the new business will concentrate primarily on "split-case orders of high-value products with difficult warehousing requirements".
This includes products from the record, music, perfuthe and cosmetics industries. Mayne Nickless has established paperless warehousing systems in Australia, and Dickson points out that such systems are not yet available on a contract basis in the UK. "We believe we have the advantage." he says.
