MI Sally Line general manager Simon Taylor has accepted Commercial Motor's 1989 Boat Vote award from deputy editor Geoff Hadwick following an overwhelming vote of confidence in his company's Ramsgate to Dunkirk cross-Channel ferry service by CM's readers. Sally runs two ferries across the Channel daily and its onboard food and service are recognised by many international truck drivers as extremely good (for more details see our report this week on pages 50 to 51).
Commercial Motor reader Dave Cockburn was also on the quayside to receive 10 free ferry crossings from Sally Line worth some 22,500.
