The four Greek-owned companies whose 0-licences have been revoked by Eastern IC Geoffrey Simms (CM11-17 May) are to appeal to the Transport Tribunal. They are: DKZ Transport, Golden Fruits Transport, Target Transportation & Forwarding and Euroline Transport.
TWO DAYS
The maintenance record of A&E Transport, of Sheffield, has led to the suspension of the company's licence for a period of two days. The company appeared before North Eastern DTC Mark Hinchliffe at a Leeds disciplinary inquiry.
STAFF TR/UNINO
The licence for 30 vehicles and four trailers held by Sheffieldbased Aaron White was suspended for 24 hours after the firm promised to carry out staff training during that time.
SUCCESSFUL BID
Scottish TO Michael Betts has granted Drury Transport (Orkney) a licence for four vehicles and six trailers following promises to enter a tachograph analysis contract if more than two drivers are employed, and to forward accounts for the next two years to the Traffic Area.
