• Dunstable Renault VI United Kingdom has cut its losses "by a factor of four" since the company stopped vehicle production last year, says managing director Bernard Momin.
But current unfavourable exchange rates mean that Renault's UK operation is unlikely to return a full-year profit much before early 1995.
0 MAN Truck & Bus UK lost .£1.7m during its 1992/93 first year of operation. However, managing director Jurgen Knorpp says the losses are mainly due to exchange rates and that the company will fare better this financial year, helped by the arrival of the L200 range.
