• Managing directors I been appointed for the four new, and as yet unnamed, operating companies which take over services run by London Country Bus Servic after deregulation of the but industry in October.
Colin Clubb, the presen company's managing directo will head London Country's south-west company, which will continue to be based at Reigate. William Gunnirq appointed MD of the southeast company which will be based at Dartford; Alan Jones is to head the northeast company at Hertford; a Dennis Ord will be in chars of the .north-west company based at Watford.
Gunning is currently traffic manager for London Countr3 Jones is its chief engineer, ai Ord is at present assistant manager and fleet engineer c Luton and District Transport the company he joined at the beginning of this year when i was formed after the splittinl up of United Counties.
A fifth company, Gatwick , gineering, is being formed to take over London County's central repair works at Tinsli Green near Crawley. LC's at sistant secretary Chris Dexter will be its managing director.
