PEUGEOT HAS UNVEILED its stylish 207 van complete with an expanded engine line-up. Launching in July, it will replace the 206. Power comes from either a 1.4-litre petrol or one of two turbo-diesel units — a 1.4HDI with 70hp or a 1.6HDI boasting 90hp. Load volume is 1.1m3 and payload is 450kg with standard equipment including ABS, electric windows and four air bags.
Prices have yet to be confirmed, but Peugeot plans to sell 1,000 units this year and 2,000 in following years.
Also on show was the new Expert L2H2 boasting 7111' of load volume, 1 .113k g of payload and a full-height bulkhead.
Peugeot reports that take-up of the model, launched earlier this year to compete with the likes of Vauxhall's Vivaro, has exceeded its expectations.
