FP&S continues to invest in its customers
Despite the current economic climate, FP&S Parts has continued to expand and invest in its products and services to best eater for its customers' needs. In recent months, FP&S has rolled out a number of new offerings; including the launch of truck parts, the expansion and relocation of their branch network, as well as developing their workshop tools and garage equipment programme.
To complement their existing trailer parts programme, FP&S has launched a comprehensive truck parts range to help keep customer's vehicles on the road. FP&S now stock over 5000 different truck and trailer parts lines including axles, suspensions, braking, electrical, body components, landing legs and general parts.
Michael Hunt, major accounts manager, FP&S outlines the impact that the truck parts launch has had on their business, "There has been a substantial increase in our customer base as well as an increase in orders from our existing customers.
"With this in mind, we are expanding our branch network across the UK to ensure we have the capacity to meet our customers' needs.We have relocated two branches (one in Leeds and the other in Milton Keynes) into larger premises and we're hoping to expand into West Midlands in the near future." FP&S currently have a network of 18 branches that are committed solely to delivering parts to their customers cationwide. Alan Griffin, sales manager for the UK is confident that FP&S can consistently grow in this area of their business, "Initially we were cautious of investing in truck parts due to the current economic climate, but a continuous surge of enquires and orders has allowed us to develop and expand our offerings."
"Since the launch, we have put a strong focus on our employees and have successfully recruited some of the best people in the market to deliver on this," said Enda Cushnahan, director of FP&S.
In other product news, FP&S has also rolled out a new workshop tools and garage equipment programme that offers its customers the option to purchase workshop tools and equipment supplied by some of the world's leading manufacturers. The new tools offering includes hand and power tools, diagnostics, lifting equipment, safety equipment and much more.
As part of the SDC Group, FP&S Parts supplies to a very diverse customer base nationwide.
