PAY-AS-YOU-DRIVE insurance may be coming to the CV market this autumn. It could represent savings for some low-mileage vehicles. Coverbox, a GPS-based product, is already available in the car market, and is expected to he available for trucks and vans by the third quarter.
The company of the same name will act as a broker for insurers. Coverbox says previous attempts at this have relied on inferior technologies, but the market is now ready.
