Zil, the former Russian car maker, which was privatised in 1992 and turned its attention to building trucks, has run out of cash to buy spare parts. The company is hoping to find a resolution to its problems this week. Mind you, it built 55,000 vehicles last year alone—more than enough to satisfy the UK truck market which was satisfied with a rise in registrations to 47,738 units. You wait till Zil gets the marketing right,
