THE E.E.C. Commission's transport proposals have been severely criticized by the Federation of Dutch Industries, in particular on the grounds that a 19 per cent share of the Community quota of 750 licences is insufficient for the 1,000odd Dutch international hauliers. It is also concerned that bilateral quotas may not continue to apply, especially since under-use of Community licences might lead to a cut in a country's percentage after 1965, The Dutch fear the system
may restrict , international transport development, over-emphasizing national interests.
