KENT-BASED haulage, plant hire and aggregates supplier JDT Services (South East) has gone into liquidation owing its creditors more than £387,000.
The firm, which worked out of one operating centre in Belvedere with a licence for 12 vehicles and two trailers, was placed into liquidation in mid-July.
Its creditors include HM Revenue and Customs, to whom it owes more than £103,000 in VAT and PAYE charges; and Barclays Bank, to which it owes more than £25,000. The company also owes its directors more than £165,000.
A spokesman for the liquidator, LB Insolvency Solutions of Chelmsford, Essex, says that whether shareholders and creditors of JDT Services (South East) will get any money back is “debatable”.
A statement of affairs shows the firm having less than £12,000 in assets.
