• Insurance broker Jensen Dickens has paid a substantial reward to two fishermen who reported finding a stolen trailer-load of whisky and chocolate which had disappeared in the Midlands over Christmas.
• Driving licence fees are going up from 1 July. First full licences, previously free, will now cost £6. Renewal to include bus or lorry entitlement is up £5 to £26; renewal after disqualification is up £5 to £17 (or up £6 to £26 after drink-driving). Duplicate or exchange licences are also up £5 to £11.
