Although he is seeing increasing interest from hauliers who are concerned about how they will comply with the Driver CPC rules, Roe's personal view is that the whole thing is a bit misguided.
"I think what the government is trying to do with the CPC is a little bit over the top. There's a lot of stuff in it that drivers already know. It's teaching people to suck eggs.
"A lot of smaller companies are going to suffer because older drivers are saying they are going to quit rather than be made to do their CPC,
"That will open the door to a lot of younger drivers, which I suppose you could say is a good thing."
