'QUILT to collect meat from the EA market and to deliver to retail customers within an eight-mile radius, a Commer Superpoise 15-cwt. van with special bodywork by Clement, Butler and Cross, Ltd., Glenhurst Road, Brentford, Middx., has been purchased by Messrs. L. S. Moore and Sons, King Street,. Maidenhead. The local Rootes dealers, R. S. Mead. Ltd, Market Street, Maidenhead, supplied the vehicle.
The body frame is of seasoned oh. Interior panelling is of I6-gauge light alloy and exterior skinning of 18-gauge material. There are four cross-rails from which meat may be suspended, supporting framework being concealed behind the panelling. A Vent-Axia ventilator is installed in the roof and
there are two Beelawat vents on each side of the body.
Shelves may be arranged inside the body for deliveries of cut meat, whilst to facilitate washing there are four drain apertures disposed so that water running out of them clears the chassis. Two rear doors are hung on outrigger brackets to swing open clear of • the body aperture.
Interior dimensions of the body are:
Length, 6 ft. 6 width, 5 fir, 6 in.; height, 5 ft. 6 in. The cab has sliding doors on each side and a bench seat.
