• Sheffield-based Tuffnells Parcels Express has ordered a further 100 Maple Freightlock shutter slam-locks for new Leyland Daf 7.5 and 12-tonne GVW box vans now in build.
The locks will be fitted to the wide-lath rear shutters on Ken Rosebury-built 18f-t grp box van
bodies, and installation will be carried out by Maple Fleet Services at the bodybuilder's premises. David Joyce. Tuffnell's network director says: "Freightlocks have proved easy to use, reliable and secure. Existing units are operated 70 times a day."
