• A new low-cost, heavyduty version of Backeye from Brigade Electronics, the Commax Backeye, is suitable for all applications including heavy mobile plant and machinery. The monitor is claimed to resist shocks up to 5g while the camera has double this tolerance and is waterproofed.
The compact camera and a waterproof microphone which is connected to a monitor-mounted speaker with volume control.
The monitor has a 5.5in screen, a day/night brightness-setting switch and can take inputs from two cameras.
The system carries a twoyear warranty which includes Brigade's heavyduty Backeye serviceexchange support scheme.
