• North Yorkshire police are asking Eddie Stobart truck spotters to help catch two masked criminals who attacked a Stobart truck at a layby on the Al near Ferrybridge, Yorks, at about 22:00hrs last Tuesday night (17 November). The thieves got away with an ASDA load of detergents worth thousands of pounds in an attack which left the truck's Manchester-based driver badly shaken. He was tied up and blindfolded before being driven away From the layby to a spot where the cargo was unloaded.
