• Birmingham-based Crane Care has added the battery-operated Micron 5 radio control unit to its range of crane switchgear.
Made by HBC-Radiomatic, the Micron 5 is designed for use with cranes and small hoisting equipment. Controls include a two-step crane, trolley and hoist buttons with a rotary switch for hoist gear selection. It can operate in continuous or inching mode, and incorporates a low battery warning.
