• Ford dealership Dagenham Motors has blamed reduced incentives from the Ford Motor Company for a 6% fall in its first half pre-tax profits to £2.35m.
Chairman David Philip says the lower incentives reduced the profitability on new vehicle sales. However, he adds that the group has made management changes and other measures to increase efficiency with the aim of improving margins in the next financial year and beyond.
