Buckle-based Alan Whyte was granted a licence for one vehicle and one trailer at an Aberdeen Public Inquiry, following the revocation of a similar licence held by his mother, Mary Whyte. Scottish TC Michael Betts had revoked that licence on maintenance grounds and the fact there had been a material change, with the son taking over the business.
