LEICESTERSHIRE'S plans to extend unsigned overnight parking controls from the city throughout the whole county have now been formally dropped.
This follows the Freight Transport Association's petitioning of the House of Commons over the issue.
But drivers may still face the prospect of a £45 fine if they receive a warning sticker after parking in an unsigned banned place overnight in Leicester city.
