FOUR companies in the road transport equipment market have received Queen's Awards for export achievement.
They are: Aeriel Access Equipment, a Tyne and Wear company which makes lorry and trailer-mounted hydraulic access platforms, Garrett AiResearch, the turbocharger manufacturer based at Skelmersdale, Lancashire, which exports to such manufacturers as lveco; Hydraroll, the Anglesey manufacturer of pneumatic cargo handling equipment; and NetIon, the plastics mesh company which has broken into the spray suppression market.
