A SUMMER parking ban in a Northumberland village has lef1 lorry drivers without the use of e car park.
The move has been made b),, Allendale Parish Council to allovâ– more room for visitors to the vil. lage during the tourist season.
Lorry drivers resent the move and have accused the council o: preferential treatment to thE tourists at the expense of resi dents and ratepayers.
The parish council said thE tourist trade was very importan: to the village.
