VERSATILE new management iol has been introduced by Je!monitoring Systems of New lalden, Surrey, which is ?signed to give fleet operators stant up-to-date information out the fuel usage of each of ieir vehicles.
The Balvin Fuelmonitor 8500 (tends the capabilities of the WO model by introducing a )miconductor memory and :ocessor which can record up 3,000 separate transactions. gta can be displayed on a Teen and/or printed out via an ) column printer.
The type of analysis which can ) processed and presented can clude fuel drawn: by drivers, vehicle, by date, by amount, journey, by product, and the 'erage mpg plus cumulative tals.
The memory can be iterrogated" via an ordinary one line and transmitted to a central computer record system, which is a useful feature for companies with multi-depot fleets. In addition, the single transaction feature is an aid to inter-departmental billing where chronological records are required.
The Balvin 8500 also allows fuel drawing with complete security. The driver merely inserts his individual key or card into a reader unit on the outstation adjacent to the pumps and keys in the vehicle identity, mileage or other data required on a key pad.
Validity is automatically checked and if satisfactory the pump mechanism is released and a record is made of the transaction.
The Balvin Fuelmonitor 8500 can be fitted to almost any make and type of pumps.
