Super woman
ime was when damsels in distress needed saving; these days the damsels are doing the rescuing. Delivery driver Sue Paracline of Stowmarket snatched a family to safety recently. Sue, 20, was on her round for employer Motorspares in the Mildenhall area when she came across a car that appeared to have driven into the verge. The shocked driver, Elaine Rezzonico, came running towards Sue, pointing to Justin, eight, Melody, seven and Connor, three, who were in the car. Sue says: "I noticed smoke coming From the bonnet. We grabbed the children, bundled them into the back of the van and drove off up the road. We hadn't gone more than about 100 metres when there were two or three loud bangs and the car burst into flames."
