• Norbar Torque Tool's latest torque multipliers are aimed at contractors handling off-road vehicle and heavy plant repairs.
Its H145 (manual operation) and P14500 (pneumatic) units can bump up the torque available with a 1in output shaft to 4,500Nm. Both come with an aluminium ratchet and bending torque/angle gauge. Prices start at around £990. Norbar is also developing powered
wrenches that cut off an stress rather than torque.
