A CCORD1NG to an official statement IāImade in Moscow, the Soviet motor industry has put into production all the new types of heavy and light vehicle envisaged in the Five-year Plan. The factories are now, building lorries, buses, special vehicles for the transport of food, coal, oil and timber, ambulances of different types, and fire-engines.
New types of lorry equipped with oilelectric and steam engines are said to have been introduced. There is also a new steam car. The Russian steam lorry can be driven on wood fuel and does not exceed in size the usual petrolen gilled vehicle.
