THREE new tachographs are being shown on the Lucas Kienzle stand at Earls Court. These include an electronic version for rearengined buses, a model showing both road and engine speed, and a mechanical clock type for use on vehicles carrying dangerous loads. All three instruments will be available in EEC-approved form next year, it is said.
In addition a further 90 vehicle distributors have agreed to become tachograph service depots, when sales make this necessary.
