I] wo Northampton firms recently joined forces to send aid to Bosnia and Croatia. Peter Brown commercials provided a 7.5-tonner and a tractive unit for a four-vehicle convoy taking aid to refugees in former Yugoslavia on behalf of Kettering Rotary Club, Ivan Roy, boss of rental firm W Wright, had actually purchased the tractor before the trip and not only agreed to honour the vehicle loan but insisted on driving.
He was joined by Lionel Murton, Peter Brown's sales manager who, I am told, refrained from trying to clinch any more deals on the trip.
