However, the low overall result points more to the test method than sub-standard equipment. Equally important to note is the difficulty in determining what is a "fair" test. I am aware that at least six of the companies whose products were tested operate a quality system to B55750 and/or test according to B55759 with no failures being recorded. This illustrates the problem concerning the adequacy of testing specifications. In most cases the raw materials used, construction methods employed, and presentation were of a good standard.
