A VAN DRIVER was attacked and his vehicle containing a load of medication was stolen in Manchester at 1.30pm on 20 April while the driver was making a delivery to Snowdon Road in Ellesmere Park.
As he got out of his V-registered white Ford Transit he was hit over the back of the head. Two men wearing hooded tops then got into the van and drove away.
Large quantities of various prescription drugs were in the back of the van including Mor phine Sulphate and Diazepam.
DI Glen Jones from Pendleton CID says: "The victim was left extremely shocked following the attack and required hospital treatment. We believe it's possible the van could still be in the local area and would ask anyone who may have seen it or who knows where it may be to contact the police as soon as possible."
