PEUGEOT has revised its 504 pick-up for 1983. The major change is the revised choice of engines. A 1.8-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine replaces the 1.6.Iitre unit previously fitted, and the 1.9-litre diesel engine is replaced by the 2.3 litre unit which currently is fitted to some Peugeot diesel car models.
In both cases the changes have been made to achieve better performance and fuel economy.
Detailed cab interior changes on the new model include el new door trim, a four-spoke steering wheel, 504 saloon facia, and electric screenwashers.
A locking fuel cap is fitted as standard to the Peugeot pick-ups and a cab roof protector, made of tubular steel, for long loads is offered as one of the number of dealer fitted options.
Retail prices exclusive of vat of the new Peugeot pick-ups are diesel £4,250, petrol £3,670.
