A MANUFACTURER of plate evaporators for the refrigeration industry, Winget Refrigeration Ltd, part of the general engineering division of Babcock and Wilcox Ltd, is moving most of its operations from Rochester, Kent, to a new factory in Cumbernauld, Scotland.
Sales inquiries for plates will still be handled at the Rochester office.
Winget makes plate evaporators filled with "holdover" solution which can be refrigerated overnight in a vehicle to provide a day-time reserve cold when the lorry is away from its depot.
