• Green 3K Freeman has developed a lightweight digital MIG/ TIG welding inverter unit which is designed to reduce the risk of lifting injuries. The Freeman 160 weighs just 7.5kg, costs £499 and can deliver 160A with welding rods up to 4,0mm.
It is said to work to its capacity even with a 7.0kVA generator. :or JIG work it has a trigger. operated gas valve and controls all pre and post-gas functions, no matter what the skill level.
The higher-spec Freeman Pulse 200 delivers 200A and features a high-frequency arcstart with fully adjustable current/time characteristics and foot-pedal control. A 110V/110A version is also available.
