LONGEVITY, versatility and safety are the reasons cited by Prestonbased Bowker Transport for its purchase of 30 curtainside trailers from German manufacturer Krone.
The transport division of the Bowker Group has bought 70 Proi Liners in the past year, and VID Bill Bowker says the equipment is built to the highest standard. “Krone’s multi lock side rave load securing system is probably the most lexible and safest we have seen. This is fundamental when meeting ever more stringent health and safety regulations, and particularly important for our chemical carrying operations in Europe,” he says. The trailers are itted with internal cargo nets with multiple restraining options. “This enables us to carry mixed loads including drums, IBCs and miscellaneous packages, without risk of damage or compromise to safety,” he adds.
Bowker Transport runs a 550strong leet.
