• In response to stories about a shortage of the new armoured tachograph cables needed to comply with the EC regulation 3821/85, Warringtonbased Tachodisc says it has been supplying approved cables to tacho centres since the start of the year and has met demand to date.
The range was introduced in response to new legislation which requires all vehicles registered after 1 January to comply with the revised C & U Regulation adopted last August. The cables are available in six, 10 and 15m lengths with standard bayonet fittings or four square plugs for Volvo applications. All are protected by a continuous plastic-coated sheath with crimped ends.
