The Hawk is always harking back to the past and with good reason. Things were cheaper then! May I present to the jury exhibit A: One British 1920's petrol pump. Sadly this hand-cranked pump now stands as a mere ornament in a service station on the A2 autobahn south of Hanover in Germany. Just how it ended up in there, has, I'm afraid, to remain one of life's mysteries. But just look at those prices—doesn't it bring a nostalgic lump to your wallet?
