II Despite achieving a record revenue of Iver £6m in the year ended May 28 last, kiinburgh Corporation transport departlent still incurred a deficit of £108,894. 'his is revealed in the undertaking's annual port.

Total revenue increased over the previous year by £513,152 to £6,379,855 while the number of passengers fell by over 1.3 million to 151,124,148. At the same time mileage operated rose by 759,168 to 19,994,882.
