• Tata will launch three variants of its Loadbeta and Gurkha pickups this spring. There are also price reductions on two existing TDi models. The Loadbeta Pickup 2.0 TDi 4x4, Loadbeta Double Cab 2.0 TDi 4)(4 and the Gurkha 2.0 TDi 4x4 all get a Borg Warner switchable two/four-wheeldrive system developed for the Loadbeta. This can be switched to four-wheel drive on the move but needs to be stationary to revert to 4x2. TATA is planning to uprate the vehicles so the payload will be similar to that of the 4x2 models.
