• Shepton Mallet-based haulier Framptons is taking delivery of 10 new curtain-sided trailers with sliding roofs.
The 13.6m Fruehauf Speed Slider semis join a fleet of 65 trailers; the new roof system will allow overhead loading of machinery and other bulk loads.
All the new trailers will run at 41 tonnes in the UK and on the Continent, but they are ready to work at a full 44 tonnes.
