• Rental and transportation company, Stardes, is spending 2750,000 to renew its Daf and MAN fleet and by December it will have bought 20 new vehicles.
Rail freight opens
• A new road/rail freight terminal has been opened in Middlesborough by Railfreight Distribution, which says the site marks the start of a programme of major investment aimed at securing a profitable and successful future in Europe".
On to Ireland
• Road trailer export services to Ireland have been stepped up by Davies Turner from each of its regional centres in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol.
