• Sherwood Leyland Dal plans to develop its business as a vehicle distributor, following its recent acquisition of Kirkby Trucks (CM 15-21 June), says managing director Terry Waterfall.
The acquisition gives Sherwood a team of three dealers in South Yorkshire which Waterfall hopes will take 22% of the area's commercial vehicle market.
