• Auxiliary pi ■wer system specialist Antares has teamed up with Mascot A/S to supply a comprehensive range of lowpower switch-mode DC to DC converters and battery chargers to complement the existing high-power products.
A choice of 29 converters is available covering commonly specified voltage reduction, upconversion and line conditioning. The units are suitable for use with cellular radio, mobile telephones, vehicle location systems, ticketing, vehicle security and most other on-board DC equipment.
All units have high levels of protection, simple push-button terminal connections and meet the current EMC and low voltage directives. They can provide up to 16A peak current, direct from 12V DC or 24V AC vehicle systems.
The specialist needs of the electric vehicle and fork-lift truck market are catered for by higher input voltage versions of 48, 72 and 80V DC. with full isolation and voltage transient protection.
