DUTCH OPERATOR De Rooy has been granted a 40-vehicle and 40-trailer 0-licence, with the condition that they are serviced in the North-West.
North-Western Traffic Commissioner Beverley Bell had reserved her decision at an earlier hearing, citing concerns about De Rooy 's plans to maintain its trucks in Holland (`TC reserves decision on international licence', CM 24 April).
But after a public inquiry last week, Bell decided to grant the licence once De Rooy had agreed to switch maintenance to the UK, where it could be monitored by Vosa.
