FIVE Volvo F1224 6x2 tractive units have entered service with the Leeds-based tanker specialist Smith and Robinson. Equipped to Petroleum Spirit regulations, the tri-axle tractors are among the first 38-tonne vehicles to enter its fleet.
The self-tracking air-suspended second axle has an air dump facility allowing for temporary load transfer.
