• Link Romania, the group which has been shipping humanitarian aid to Romania since 1990, has launched an appeal for vehicles, drivers and fuel to transport further aid. The campaign wants to take out up to 50,000 shoeboxes filled with gifts for Romanian families in November or December from its Sussex base, but has only three trucks of its own. Interested parties can help by: • loaning it a 38tonner for 15-18 days; • joining the trip with a vehicle; • making a donation of fuel to help reduce the cost.
