1,000 trailers in 30 years for South-West haulier
RI KEEDWELL HAS added 150 new Lawrence David pillarless curtainsider trailers to its fleet.
The Somerset-based company has been running Lawrence David trailers since 1979, and the latest arrivals bring the number of pillarless Lawrence Davids in the fleet to more than 1,000.
A number of the new trailers — all 4.2 metres high and 13.6 metres long — are equipped with the latest Strapsafe innovation from Lawrence David, allowing the load restraint system to be fitted, and the load secured, without the driver having to climb over the load.
"With health and safety such a major concern, this is a major step forward," says managing director Ray Keedwell.
