Leading Volvo truck dealer Hartshorne Group has become one of the main dealers for Lawrence David trailers.
Words: Rob Turner TRADING UNDER the banner of a new Hartshorne Group operation, Truck & Trailer Solutions will handle sales of new and used Lawrence David trailers.
The centre, based at Burton on Trent, will also work alongside the eight other Hartshorne dealers providing full parts, plus repair and maintenance services, including annual vehicle test preparation and 24/7 roadside assistance across the region for Lawrence David trailers.
Truck & Trailer Solutions will be the group's centre for approved Lawrence David repairs and refurbishment.
It will also stock and handle the groupwide distribution of parts for Ray Smith Group tail lifts.
Hartshorne also aims to widen the scope of Truck &Trailer Solutions, by establishing itself as an independent service centre for any make of van or truck.
Hartshorne Group managing director David Bachelor says: "Our appointment as a Lawrence David main dealer, plus the creation of Truck & Trailer Solutions, is another step towards our goal of becoming a one-stop-shop for truck operators."
