• Next year's conference of the Association of Public Passenger Transport Operators will be held in Liverpool in the week commencing September 23.
This was announced last week by the newly installed president, Mr Alfred Burrows, former Liverpool G.M. and now directorgeneral of the Merseyside PTE. The outgoing president, Mr J. E. Frith, will shortly be retiring from the general manager's post at Derby Corporation Transport after 40 years in the bus industry.
